Choosing the right program is easier than you think. Really it is pretty simple. Unless you run a site that gets 10,000 page views a day, the pay per impression method is not really an option. We don't even list these since I don't really exspect too
many of these webmasters to need to learn here.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE ?
Clicks, Leads, Sale ??? The best way to make money today ( These are opinions ) is pay per lead. There are lots of great programs with some fairly lucrative payouts for leads. Commision Junction, Direct Leads, and Websponsors
are among the most reputable of the bunch. These types of programs work under the concept that you provide a link to a service or product and if the visitor signs up for their offer, then you will get a flat lead payout. These companies also offer pay per click for some of the companies they service.
Then we have the Pay per Sale types, these are most often retailers and the average commission on a sale is 10%. These are less effective unless you have traffc that has credit
cards and ready to use them. In my expierence, Mainly giving away info and freebies, these don't work for me. Of course if your site is going to be about Make-Up, then some links to Avon may be profitable for you. Commision Junction has links to hundreds if the Pay per Sale offers also. The leading companies that offer mainly Pay per Sales are LinkShare and Reporting.net.
