What does LecktronixWeb Design need to start building my site ?
We will require two essential bit's of information before we can begin work on your project, firstly any pictures, photographs or logo's you wish to be included in the

How much storage space for my web site will I need ?
This depends on the complexity of your site i.e.: the more pictures, animation's, sounds etc., the more space required.

How much will the site cost ?
We can build sites to almost any budget, but you obviously get what you pay for.
Generally, many sites begin with a site costing hundreds of pounds rather than
thousands, adding content throughout the first few months, eventually producing an established online presence. Since we are not ruthless money grabbers, this is the
building strategy we recommend. It is in our interest to ensure your full satisfaction, to help you succeed is our goal too! The initial cost simply depends on the

How long will it take to complete my site ?
This depends on how many changes you need, how quickly you get the content to us as well as numerous other factors. As a rule of thumb, most of our previous sites
never extended beyond two weeks from first contact.

Can I update the site myself ?
If you're happy with making minor changes to the site we see no reason why you
shouldn't, after all it is your site.

Do I have to sign a contract with you to maintain my site ?
Absolutely not! We feel that you should have the choice to choose whoever you
want to maintain and work on your site. All further site additions, alterations and amendments are billed separately upon completion.

Is it legal to use a picture if I think it is free of Copyright ?
Obviously not - if a picture is given or sold to you by someone who doesn't own the
rights for it, using it is therefore illegal. The true holder of the copyright for it can then stop you, charge you for using it, or even worse - sue you. We only use our own
original work or copyright free items.

Who owns the copyright for my site ?
We are the copyright holder for all original work on your site, which includes the
source code. All work carried out by us is created for the sole purpose of displaying within pages produced by us upon your site.This does not give you permission to
allow any outside party use of any element created by Lecktronix Web Design, even though the concerned element may have been paid for in full. However, upon
request we can provide elements for distribution to other parties. We may notify you of any copyright infringements by third party sites.

What is the size of a single web page ?
Well, seen as though you had to scroll down this page to read this, you probably know the answer to this question already. Web pages are not any particular size
since you can scroll in directions to see more, yet in our quotation form we specifically ask how many pages you think you want developed for your site. To give
you an indication of your site's probable cost, we compare the size of a web page to a standard 8 ½" x 14" sheet of paper. This is about the most length many visitors
should need to scroll to see all the information contained on a page, anything longer than this is not advisable, ignore this rule at your own risk.

What is Search Engine registration ?
Once your site is finished and you're happy with the result, the world will need to know how to find it. Simply uploading your site is unfortunately not enough to get
noticed, so we register it to the search engines to tell them it exists. These include Lycos (www.lycos.com), Excite (www.excite.com), Yahoo! (www.yahoo.com),
AltaVista (www.yahoo.com), HotBot (www.hotbot.com) and many more, including all .com versions. However, all of our projects are optimised to ensure they can achieve the best results.
